Short version: your data stays on your device. We don't collect it, sell it, or share it.
StitchWIP ("the App") is a cross-stitch WIP tracker for iOS developed by StitchWIP Studio. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the App.
The short version: StitchWIP is designed to be private by default. All data you enter into the app — your projects, sessions, inventory, stats, and settings — is stored entirely on your device. We do not operate servers that collect or store your personal data.
We do not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:
All app data is stored locally on your iPhone using standard iOS storage. This data is included in your device's standard backup (iCloud Backup or iTunes/Finder backup) if you have backup enabled. We never have access to this data.
If you delete the app, all locally stored data is permanently deleted from your device.
StitchWIP offers an optional one-time in-app purchase called "StitchWIP Pro." In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect, store, or process your payment information. Apple's privacy policy governs any data collected during the purchase process.
When RevenueCat is integrated for purchase management, RevenueCat may collect certain transaction data (such as purchase dates and anonymized identifiers) in accordance with their own Privacy Policy. No personal data you enter into the app is shared with RevenueCat.
If you grant permission, the App may send local notifications (deadline reminders, daily stitch nudges, etc.). These notifications are generated and delivered entirely on your device. We do not use push notification services or remote servers to send notifications.
StitchWIP does not currently integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. The App does not use:
StitchWIP is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since no personal information is collected from any user, there is no specific risk to children's data.
If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the effective date above and may notify users through an in-app notice on the next app launch. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
