Hi, I’m Jessica.

The stitcher behind StitchWIP.

“This is the app I actually wanted.”

Between notes on my phone, half-finished spreadsheets, and a stash list that was always out of date, I was spending a lot of time managing my cross-stitch life when I could be stitching.

My day job is in IT — but StitchWIP is entirely a stitching project at heart. Every feature came from real problems I was trying to solve in my own craft. It’s designed the way I actually think about my projects: session logs that show real progress, pace calculators that tell me exactly how many stitches I need to hit a deadline, SAL release tracking, and the project wheel I open every single time I can’t choose what to stitch next.

Outside of work, you’ll find me stitching, playing cozy games, watching FlossTube, or being followed room to room by my two Weimaraners, Stella and Sterling. This app is part of that same slow, creative life, and every download genuinely means a lot.

If you have a feature request, a bug to report, or just want to share a WIP — I actually read every email.

The principles behind the app

🔒
Your data is yours
Your projects, stash, and photos live on your device. Export a backup whenever you like — it’s all yours to keep, and it always will be.
💸
No subscription
You pay once and the app is yours — forever. No monthly fees to unlock features that should just work.
🪡
Built for the craft
StitchWIP isn’t a generic to-do list or project tracker app. Every feature was specifically designed with cross-stitching in mind by someone who actually stitches.

More in the works

StitchWIP is the first thing I’ve built, but it won’t be the last. I keep a long — frankly unreasonable — list of stitchy ideas I want to make, and I’m slowly working my way down it. Nothing I’m ready to name just yet.

If you’d like to be there when the next one lands, that’s where I’ll share it first.

I’d love to hear from you

Whether it’s a bug, a feature idea, or just saying hi — my inbox is open.
